Paris Ile de France Villas

Nowadays, villas in Paris are rare due to their size and price. The closest and most common thing in this area would be large apartments and penthouses.

Indeed, in the Paris area there is very little space for big properties and this space would cost a lot as this region is one of the most expensive of France (if not the most expensive). Therefore most people looking for luxurious properties would be satisfied with an apartment overlooking the Champs de Mars at the feet of the Eiffel Tower, or a nice large house in Versailles in the outskirts of Paris.

These properties offer the same level of comfort than a villa in the south of France for example. Moreover, they also give you the chance of living in maybe the most romantic and beautiful city on earth.

Paris also offers an amazing network of public transports at a very low cost. A travel ticket that would cost 4 or 5 Pounds in London would only cost 1 to 1.50 pounds in Paris.

So in the end, if you are looking for a luxourious home in France and have been considering buying a small villa in the south of France, then think again: wouldn't a house in Paris be more conveinient?. You might find that living in a small French village, lost in the countryside, becomes very lonely whereas Paris has a very large English community that would help you settle down and feel more at home.
