14.7. Local Council Grants for French School Pupils

The local mairie (and sometimes the département) will occasionally offer discretionary financial assistance for things such as school trips to those students living in their commune.

For grants of a general nature the mairie will write to households in the commune, or to the collège or lycée who will in turn notify parents.

If you wish to seek specific assistance, then you should discuss with your local mairie or visit the web site of your Conseil Regional.
