7. Gas/Electric Heating

If you are proposing to install gas or electric heating, then you can obtain a soft loan through EDF the national electricity utility, or GDF the national gas utility.

The loan can cover the cost of the central heating system, as well as insulation works, including new double glazed windows.

Rates start at about 4% to 6% for amounts up to €21,000.
