Val d’Isère

The 2009 Alpine skiing world championships will take place in the valley of Isère, located in the Alps in Savoie, it is one of the European capitals of skiing. This event will take place from January 30 to February 14 2009. The station will accommodate the 11 tests of the Championships of the World MADE Alpine skiing, joining together 60 nations, 350 athletes, 800 team-members, and 1500 representatives of the media. Tour de France

The 96th France Tour cycling race will include a prologue and 21 stages (one more than in the Tour 2008) for a distance of approximately 3 500 kilometres. It will take place from Saturday 4 to Sunday 26 July, 2009. Please click here to visit the official website.

How can I attend?

You will be able to attend any stage, since the Tour de France event is free to watch. We advise you to attend a stage including mountains as it is more impressive to watch.

The best mountain stages are those in the Pyrenees, Alps and Massif Central areas.

24 heures Du Mans

24 heures du Mans is a 24 hours automobile duration race. Established in 1923, is the most famous race of car and pilots endurance in the world. The teams consist in three drivers who interchange throughout the race. Please find below the dates of the 2007 24h of Mans:

  • June 3: Day Test "24 Hours of Mans"
  • June 16 & 17: "24 Hours of Mans"

The tariffs of the tickets of entry on the circuit are as follows (full fare):

  • 61 euros: general enclosures (day test/week of the race)
  • 7 euros: bends Mulsanne - Arnage
  • 25 euros: day test - 1 meeting of tests
  • 460 euros: pitwalk (except period of race)
