It is just 3 kilometres from the lively small town of Thenezay (in the Deux Sevres) for shops, restaurants and a supermarket as well as doctors, dentist and pharmacy and many other facilities. There is a school bus leaves the village each day and for older children there is a bus from Thenezay. In the Vienne we have the pretty and historic town of Vouille with its excellent Saturday market and Sunday lunch! Situated halfway between the university town of Poitiers and the historic town of Parthenay. Poitiers is the home of the very popular attraction of Futurescope. Airports at Poitiers, Tours and La Rochelle. Poitiers airport just 20 minutes. High speed TGV between Paris, Tours, Poitiers and Bordeaux.
