We are selling our family home in Cursan,

Popular places to visit nearby include Abbey of La Sauve-Majeure at 3 km and Libourne at 18 km. It is 20 km away from Saint-Emilion, an exceptionally scenic medieval town and world-famous vineyards.

From Nice Cote d'Azur airport to Bordeaux : 3 hours 1/2
The TGV connects Paris Montparnasse to Bordeaux in 2 hours.
You then need to rent a car to reach Cursan in 30 minutes.
Interior
The floors on the ground floor are covered with tiles and warmed by the addition of comfortable carpets.
The 1st floor has hardwood flooring. The floor in the convertible attic is also hardwood. The ceilings have huge, exposed beams, hewn with an axe, just like in the old days.
The attic can be transformed as a master bedroom, playroom or reading room.
The roof is insulated with glass wool but the insulation should be reviewed for better efficiency.
Exterior
Built with local stone, named "pierre de taille", fully covered with cement on which crawls Virginia creeper, which provides beautiful colors in fall.
The roof is in good condition, inspected 1 1/2 years ago and covered with local tiles, for keeping its regional character.
The surroundings are grass, flowers and fruit and nut trees.
Additional Details
You can hear the birds in the morning, so quiet is the area.
Of course, this house needs to be modernized over time. The kitchen could be installed in the entrance veranda, the bathroom could be enlarged, double glazing installed, and better general insulation will be on the agenda.
