The manor offers approximately 280 sqm of living space, arranged over two levels, with generous volumes and a well-balanced layout ideal for comfortable family living or use as a second residence.

On the ground floor, the entrance hall opens onto a spacious and welcoming living room with an original stone fireplace, creating a warm and authentic atmosphere. A separate dining room, also featuring a fireplace, is well suited for family gatherings and entertaining.

The large fitted kitchen (approx. 36 sqm) is designed as a true living space, with direct access to the garden and adjoining areas. A bathroom with WC and a study / office complete this level.

Two staircases provide access to the upper floor, offering good circulation and flexibility.

The first floor comprises five well-proportioned bedrooms, including one with its own private bathroom and WC, as well as an additional separate WC. The rooms benefit from good natural light and pleasant views over the surrounding gardens and countryside.

Throughout the house, many original architectural features have been preserved, including exposed beams, stonework and period fireplaces, which contribute to the manor’s character and charm. The property is in sound overall condition, with partial renovations already completed, allowing a new owner to settle in comfortably and personalise if desired.

Heating is provided by a combination of electric radiators, wood-burning stoves and an open fireplace with heat distribution, offering flexibility and comfort throughout the seasons.

The interior layout is both practical and elegant, making the property perfectly suited as a private family home or holiday residence, without the need for structural reconfiguration.

Exterior
The manor is set within a peaceful and natural environment, surrounded by approximately 1 hectare of private landscaped grounds, offering privacy, open views and a strong sense of tranquillity.

The immediate surroundings of the house include well-established gardens with mature trees, creating a calm and intimate setting. The grounds feature a productive orchard, a rose garden and garden areas suitable for leisure gardening and outdoor enjoyment.

A semi-inground swimming pool is located within the grounds, providing a private and pleasant space for relaxation during the summer months.

Several characterful outbuildings enhance the property, including a remarkable medieval stone tower and former stables, offering potential for additional accommodation, studios or creative spaces, subject to the necessary permissions.

The configuration of the buildings and grounds makes the property ideal as a private country residence or second home, combining historic character with manageable outdoor space.

Additional agricultural land and farm buildings may be acquired separately, offering flexibility for buyers who may wish to extend their project without the obligation of managing extensive land.

Additional Details
The estate known as La Jagaisière is a documented historic noble property, whose origins date back to the late Middle Ages, with architectural elements from several significant historical periods.

The manor is mentioned as early as 1390 and appears on historic maps, including Jaillot’s map (1706) and the Cassini map (circa 1760). It became the property of the de La Porte family in the 17th century and remained an important noble residence of the area over the following centuries.

Parts of the manor date from the 13th and 14th centuries, including a remarkable medieval stone fireplace, original masonry, and blocked openings visible on the northern gable. A southern pavilion wing was added in the second half of the 16th century, possibly around 1568, followed by further remodelling during the late 17th and early 18th centuries, as evidenced by several period fireplaces still in place today.

Throughout the 19th century, the buildings were unified and enhanced, giving the property much of its present layout. The entrance tower, former stables and ancillary buildings reflect this long and layered architectural history.

The buildings are constructed primarily of local sandstone rubble stone, with slate roofs, and retain many original features such as historic fireplaces, stone openings, timber lintels and traditional roof structures.

Today, La Jagaisière stands as a rare and authentic historic manor, combining documented heritage, architectural character and quality of setting, while remaining a private property suitable for modern residential use.
