The property is in a very pretty village in amongst some beautiful countryside. There are local shops an easy 3km bike ride away in Désertines and the pretty market town of Gorron is a short drive away (5km).
Gorron is known for its pretty stone houses and riverside location. The town lies in the unspoilt countryside of the Mayenne. Technically the town is situated within the Pays de la Loire region, but in many respects Gorron considers itself Norman, certainly the atmosphere and character of the town is typical of Normandy. Gorron has a good selection of shops and services as well as an excellent weekly market (Wednesdays) and a supermarket.
