Nowadays there are a number of fine restaurants in the town, supermarkets, bowling, a golf course, lake, swimming pool, hospital, riding school and a wide range of shops. Easy to reach from the UK, this region is extremely popular with buyers looking for a second home. The ferry ports of Caen (one hour), Cherbourg, St Malo and Le Havre are all within easy easy driving distances. Calais and the Channel Tunnel are about 4 hours away. The attractive beach at Granville is less than an hour by car.
