 The cottage is situated at the end of a no through road that is shared with one other neighbour.  The views stretch over the surrounding fields, down the valley and to the woodlands beyond.  The picturesque Lac de la Dathée and St Sever Forest are both within easy reach and there’s an excellent 18 hole golf course nearby.  The beach is around 45mins away and it’s just 80mins to St Malo and 90mins to Caen ferry ports, whilst the train station at Vire is 15mins away (with fast connection to Paris). 





The nearest town for daily supplies would be Sourdeval, just 5km away.  So, it’s an easy bike ride for the daily baguettes and here  you’ll find a good selection of shops and restaurants and an excellent weekly produce market.  It’s a rich and varied area to explore.
