Location: 
Chamonix is known as the Alpine capital of the world. As a destination it has a reputation for world-class skiing in the winter and a myriad of adventure and endurance sports in the summer. La Flégère ski lift is within very easy reach. Traditionally this has always been great for beginners and intermediates, however it has been given a new dimension since the new high speed 6-man Index chair-lift was installed in 2005 meaning greater access to the more challenging and extreme routes. 

Located in the Aiguilles-Rouges, the Brévent-Flégère area is the largest skiing and boarding area in the Valley area and combines good altitude and excellent snow quality. 

Chamonix itself has a vast array of shops, fabulous restaurants and even better nightlife. This is all set against the backdrop of Mont Blanc, Europe’s highest peak.
