The property sits on a stunning wooded plot of around 1ha. There’s a Nordic hot-tub as well as a beautiful space-age glamping pod! Access in the winter months is via a Polaris tracked vehicle, which can be negotiated separately, if required.





Main chalet (100m2):





Set over three levels, the main chalet is stylishly designed, giving a greater sense of space than its footprint suggests. Traditional features such as reclaimed oak, exposed beams and original stone are paired with modern fittings and finishes.





The ground floor has an entrance hall and a spacious principal bedroom with access to the garden. The en-suite bathroom includes a deep bath, double basin, ethanol fire and underfloor heating, offering a comfortable, spa-style feel.





The main living level is the centre of the chalet, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area built around a rotating wood-burning stove. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light, and doors open onto a balcony and outdoor dining terrace with mountain and woodland views.





The upper floor has a charming attic bedroom, once a hayloft, with exposed beams, original cladding, and a free-standing antique copper bath.





Mini-chalet (25m2):





Also set over three levels, the mini-chalet offers independent accommodation. Though compact, it is fully self-contained, with a small kitchen, shower room, living area with bunk beds, and a separate double bedroom.





Glamping pod:





Set amongst the trees is a unique Glamping pod. The space-age 'Conkersphere' was designed by a McLaren engineer and offers a truly immersive Alpine experience.





Outside:





The plot sits on a 1ha plot, about half of which is woodland. Finding a property with this amount of land in such a sought-after area is unusual. There’s a traditional Nordic hot tub, which is a magical place to unwind and admire the surroundings. There are lovely views out across La Chaine des Aravis and Le Grand Massif.





Location:





The chalet is located just above the spa and ski resort of St Gervais les Bains. Skiing is accessible nearby, with Les Houches, Saint-Gervais and the wider Evasion Mont-Blanc domain close at hand. Direct ski access is possible for tourers, or by driving 5 minutes up the track to the Plancerts ski lift. The Alpine sports mecca of Chamonix and super-chic resort of Megeve are both within easy reach.





Access to the chalet is via a track, so a 4x4 is required for most of the year. The current owners use a Polaris Ranger for the really snowy months. This can be purchased separately.
