The large under cover market square in the centre of Monségur is the hub of the village and there is a small market on Tuesdays and a larger one on Fridays.  The River Dropt runs by to the north of the village and there are some lovely picnic spots and walks along its’ banks.  Duras is particularly renowned for its’ castles and wines and also has a weekly market as well as a good selection of shops, schools, bars and restaurants.
