Moncontour is around 10km away and is a good place to head for a coffee, lunch or a wander around the medieval streets. The town has cafés, restaurants, independent shops, a pharmacy, bakery and other everyday services, as well as its historic ramparts and distinctive granite and half-timbered buildings.





There are plenty of walking trails in the area including paths around the nearby leisure lakes and the woods of the Lié Valley are lovely to explore for longer hikes.  There are various events organised throughout the year for communal walks and rambles for the local community.





The north coast is around 25 mins away, ideal for day trips & seafood restaurant treats.  Saint Brieuc is 25 mins away and the ferry port at Saint Malo is around a 1hr 15 min drive
