On the ground floor, there are two entrances, one to the stables, the other to a small kitchen/living area, bedroom and a cellar at the back. The first floor is an open barn/hayloft with access to the rear of the chalet.

There is 15400m2 of land all surrounding the property, some pasture land, but mostly woodland.

The property requires complete renovation, there is no water or electricity. Chalet d’alpages are protected by stringent regulations, so any plans will need to be sympathetic to the existing ‘look’.

The following times are given from where you would park a car and either walk up to the chalet (+/- 30 mins), or drive a 4x4 or quad. The nearest shops would be in the small village of Onnion about 6kms away, the larger town of St Jeoire is 11km. Geneva airport would be about an hour's drive. For skiing there are many small family resorts within a 20 min drive and larger ski stations (les Portes du Soliel, Megeve) under the hour.
