The Main House

After passing through electric gates, the house is approached by a long winding driveway leading to the front of the main house. From this arrival point, the view across the countryside to the sea will take your breath away.

The large kitchen (32m2) has wooden beams and can sit eight to ten people. The kitchen is Provençal style with a mix of wood, stone and modern steel. It has a range style double oven (gas and electric), two dishwashers, a microwave, an American fridge/freezer.

Bedrooms

The magnificent master bedroom – The Galimard Suite – is large with a super king-size bed and has an en suite bath and shower (together, 41m2). You can sit in the bath with a glass of champagne and from there you can enjoy the view across the olive trees to the Mediterranean!

The Room with the View – is also a double room (15m2) and has an en suite shower-room and wc. The glorious view from this bedroom can be appreciated from the bed or the shower. On this level there is another large room (23m2) – The Four-Poster Room – with an antique four-poster double bed. Just next to this room is a bathroom and wc. There is also a large utility room with full laundry facilities for washing and drying clothes. As you enter the area of the house adjacent to the Pool house terrace, you will find two more double bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms.

The Garden Room has a Twin bedded room, with two single beds (92×190); This large room (17m2) has wooden floors, a large walk in shower and WC en-suite with private access to the garden through patio doors. The Pool View Room (16 m2) has wood floors and an en-suite shower room & WC with a wonderful view of the pool.

Other bedrooms are located in the Olive Grove apartments. The house is a family home (in use outside the summer season), so it is decorated and designed as a home not as a secondary residence. The main house is a stone building and retains the cool in the summer: but all bedrooms and living rooms still have ceiling fans.

The Estate & Local Area

The estate and gardens occupy 1.4 hectares in total and contains terraced olive groves with over 250 ancient olive, orange and fig trees. From every corner of these wonderful gardens the views across the local hills sides and towards the sea are just spectacular.

The Immediate Surroundings

The property is close to Mougins (20 minutes), Valbonne (10 minutes) and Grasse (20 minutes).

The Pool & Pool-house and summer kitchen

The swimming pool is a large 15 metre heated salt water pool. Beyond the pool, there is a large open but shaded area for some respite from the heat of day.

Facing onto the pool is a large extension to the main house which constitutes separate accommodation and has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, with en suite bathrooms and a separate living area. There are stairs up to the TV mezzanine – for chilling out and watching a favourite movie.

The outside summer kitchen and seating area is spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen with seating and dining places for 12/14 people. There is an open fire place in this area which takes the chill out of the air on a spring or autumn evening and on a hot summer day, the colonial ceiling fans cool you down as you sip that glass of rosé or champagne.

The Belleview apartment:

Separate outhouse for a caretaker, or additional rooms consisting of living room, kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom with it’s own driveway and separate parking. It is possible to create a gym or an office in the very usable space.
