Le Capelle-Balaguier is 15 minutes way from Villeneuve D'Aveyron which is a Medieval Bastide village set in the beautiful countryside of the Aveyron. This picturesque village hosts many event throughout the year, Medieval Festival, musical festivals and is known for its Sunday Market, with its local producers selling meats, cheese, bread and vegetable, plus more. The villages has a selection of restaurants all serving typical Averyronnaise specialties, bars, supermarkets, a locally renowned Butchers, camping and sporting activities.
Within 25 minutes is the larger Bastide town of Villefranche Du Rouergue, with many larger amenities, shops and train station, with trains daily direct to Toulouse.
Also 15 minutes away from the beautiful Lot village of Cajarc, with its Saturday afternoon Market, which during the summer months takes up most of the Village. Its also host on an Annual Basis the infamous Afrijarc Event, visited by many from around France for the African Music and food.
The area has many tourist areas all within an hours drive including Najac, Cordes sur Ciel, Figeac, Rodez (the Capital of the Aveyron), Conques.
