Marseillan is a picturesque little town between Sète and Béziers, located on the Etang de Thau with its many oyster farmers. The town has a pleasant quayside with restaurants, a maze of little streets, the 17th century Church of Saint John the Baptist, and a traditional covered market hall. The long sandy beach of nearby Marseillan Plage is perfect for swimming and water sports. You can walk or bike along the Canal du Midi towards Toulouse.
