To the right side is a walled garden and to the left the chicken house and old barn with the vegetable garden next to this. There is plenty of room for animals should you desire them.
 
There is an attached garage which also houses the boiler and oil tank.  
 
A bread delivery van comes 6 days a week to the village and just 1.5 km from the property is a bar and grocery shop. Mortain is 5 km and has all amenities.

The larger town of Vire is 29km and Avranches 37km.

The ferry port of St Malo is 95km and Ouistreham 105 km with ferries to the UK, Rennes airport is 105km
