Le Vigeant has a café-restaurant, library/post office, school, fishing lake with barbecue area, and a great friendly calm community with regular events at the village hall just up the street. 2km away is the small town of L'Isle Jourdain, with schools, supermarket with petrol, five café-restaurants, bakery, newsagents/tabac, doctors, dentist, pharmacy, opticians, garden centre, DIY store and garage, plus a swimming pool, tennis courts, and waterskiing/kayaking. This is a very safe, healthy and relaxing place to live, and you're surrounded by the beautiful lush countryside of the Vienne river valley.
