House in Usson du Poitou, 8 Rooms, 173 m²

Property Description

I'm Andy Portsmouth, the local agent for this spacious detached stone house, set in beautiful countryside just 2.5 km from Usson-du-Poitou. It sits beside a quiet country lane that leads only to fields.

The bright 28 m² kitchen and dining room has a Belfast sink, a stable door and a log burner. It connects to a 35 m² dual-aspect living room, also with a log burner, which opens onto the terrace. A separate dining room could serve as a fifth, ground-floor bedroom. There is also a shower room, a separate WC and a garden kitchen/laundry room with its own access to the terrace.

Upstairs are four bedrooms (19m2, 23m2, 11m2, 11m2) and a second shower room with WC. Two staircases give the house a flexible layout, with potential for B&B accommodation.

Outside, the house has an attached garden, a parking space and a bread oven. Across the exceptionally quiet lane is a second plot, ideal for growing vegetables, with a garden tap, a shed and three garages.

The pretty village of Usson-du-Poitou is a pleasant walk or a 10-minute cycle ride away, with local shops, schools, bars and a restaurant.
