This charming manor house was built in the fifteenth century, not far from an old port on the banks of the Sioule which had been used to send Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule wines to Paris since the Middle Ages.

It is composed of a rectangular main building with two half-timbered facades. A stairway tower flanks the west façade.

Completely renovated in the 1990s by Compagnons du Devoir, it has unfortunately been abandoned for about ten years and requires a new restoration.

Facing east-west, it develops approximately 225 m² of living space.

On the ground floor:

– The entrance door is topped with a stone lintel in brackets and opens onto a central corridor of 6.73 m² through it. On the second floor, a 3.20 m² corridor leads:

– In the center a closet of 1.37 m²;

– An attic bedroom of 12.96 m² with exposed oak framework;

– An attic bedroom of 16.90 m² with exposed oak framework;

Heating by wood stoves and electric convectors.

Individual sanitation to be brought up to standard.

The east side of the roof needs to be revised. Interior to be completely renovated.

Two outbuildings, also renovated in the 90s, are located to the east:

– A first building comprising 3 rooms of 32, 17 and 18 m²;

– A second building comprising a barn of 52 m² and a vaulted cellar.

The roofs are in good condition.
