La Forclaz is a charming village located opposite of La Vernaz, in between Thonon les Bains and Morzine, and in between Bioge and La Baume to be precise.
This village offers beautiful views on the valley and on the mountains around it. The exposition to the sun is prominent in the afternoon and in later hours. La Forclaz is an ideal village if you are looking for a quiet place for a holiday home, or even for a permanent home.
In the winter, the closest ski slopes are the ones in Saint Jean d'Aulps (Le Roc d'Enfer) at about 15-20 minutes by car, otherwise, the ones in Morzine (Le Pléney) are at about 25 minutes away by car.
