The gîte will be available for rent starting August 15th.
You'll have a private street entrance, a private, largely covered, furnished terrace of 32m², a living room with a large-screen and air conditioning, an open-plan kitchen with all necessary appliances, including a washing machine and dishwasher, three bedrooms: one with a double bed and a large-screen, one with two single beds, a guest room with two beds, and a shower room. The total living space is approximately 90m² net. The entire space is equipped with excellent fiber optic internet with WiFi.
In addition to the approximately 200m² secluded, sloping garden, you also have access to the entire property of almost 3 hectares, including our garden with chickens, silkies and ducks, and a large wooded area. The apartment is fully furnished and the rental period is at least 3 months.

Location
The bastide of Bellocq boasts a grand old castle and a large Jurançon wine cellar run by the cooperative of local winegrowers. In neighbouring Puyoô, all basic necessities are available within 3km from our location: a doctor's office, dentist, nursing assistant, ATM, gas station, post office, supermarket, etc. In nearby Salies de Béarn you'll find a beautiful old town with modern amenities such as thermal baths, golf courses, a casino, and more.
In Orthez (15km), you'll find a reasonably well-equipped hospital, as well as in Saint Palais (28km). Large (university) hospitals can be found in Bayonne and Pau, less than an hour's drive away. Even San Sebastian (Spain) reachable within one hour drive.

The rent is reasonable and includes electricity, water, and heating. Additional costs only apply if you rent the space for more than two people.
Major maintenance of the associated garden is carried out by the landlord.
There are about 5 Great Pyrenees (GPs) that can be found in the large garden during the day when the weather is nice, there are also several cats, ducks, chickens and silkies in the large garden.
