The village of St Lary, although small, has a vibrant and welcoming community. There are regular pétanque and table-tennis competitions,  village fetes and the Tour de France regularly passes through. There is an excellent pizzeria, hotel, restaurant and grocery/bakery. There’s also a well-established artisan fromagerie, just down the road. There’s a supermarket in the nearby town of Castillon en Couserans and excellent Saturday markets at Aspet and St Girons, both of which are about a 30min drive. 





The ski resort of Mourtis is 40mins drive and the Spanish border is under an hour away.
