The village of Varaignes is a popular destination for tourists, drawn there by its stunning, medieval château that sits in the heart of the village. It offers a range of local amenities including a boulangerie, épicerie with coffee shop, post office and junior school. The nearest large supermarket is just 10 minutes’ drive. The international airport in Limoges is just over an hour away, whilst the TGV rail network can be accessed in Angoulême, which is only a 30 minute drive.
