No, we only charge a one-off upfront advertising fee Our prices are for 6 periods and include UK VAT charged at 20%. We do not auto-renew your subscription after 6 or 12 months of advertising. The advert is essentially an online version of a newspaper classified advert. All enquiries made about your property will be sent directly to your email address. All enquiries are stored on your account and are accessible online. All subsequent correspondence, including organising bookings / viewing needs to be organised by yourself. Our private sales advertising packages are our most successful advertising packages. Privately advertised properties account for over 20% of our total enquiries. Unfortunately we do not have actual statistics on the number of sales that result from our advertising as we are not involved in the sales process. Yes. We offer discounted renewal products with savings of up o 40% to our repeat advertisers.
Featured adverts displayed on the homepage and on other high traffic areas of the website are promoted through the use of SpotClicks. When you purchase a number of SpotClicks, they are assigned to your featured advert and it is included in a random rotation on the homepage and other pages of the website.
Visitors can click directly on the advert and will be redirected to your full online advert. This action will deduct one click from your account and your featured advert will expire when all the purchased clicks on your account have been used up. Clicks are only used when the property is accessed by a visitor, not when the advert is displayed.
Spotclicks are a product used to increase the exposure of property adverts on the website. Featured adverts displayed on the homepage and on other high traffic areas of the website are promoted through the use of SpotClicks. If you do not have the suitable banner, we can create a banner on your behalf. To do this we will need 3-5 high quality images of your property.

We accept payments over the telephone or online using debit or credit cards & Paypal. Please call our office on 0044 0207 135 2222 to make a telephone payment. All payments are processed by our secure payment partner Sage Pay.
You will have to pay VAT at the standard UK rate of 20% if you are resident in the EU.
So the only exemptions are:
- if you reside outside of the EU
- if you are TVA registered in France or in another EU country where you are not charged VAT due to the reciprocal EU VAT agreement.

When your advert is placed online a member of our team will assess the quality of your advert and email you with recommendations on how to improve your advert. DPE survey data is required for all adverts hosted within France. As French-Property.com is based in the UK, we have been informed by the French authorities that our advertisers do not have to include this information. However, all vendors have to undertake full diagnostic surveys before selling which includes Diagnostic de Performance Energétique - DPE so we recommend that you include this on the advert for completeness. We take every possible measure to prevent illegitimate enquiries, however, we are unable to block them entirely. There are a number of measures you can take to protect yourself when advertising on any website.
We recommend not displaying your phone number or any other personal details in the content of your advert.
All online enquiries are sent via email so the enquirer does not have access to any personal information until you disclose this through correspondence. Therefore, it is always necessary to be vigilant before sending any replies.
We would also recommend that you create a new free email address specifically for the sale of your house. This will prevent your personal email address from being disclosed.

No. All enquiries are sent to you automatically via our online enquiry system. Advertisers need to follow up the enquiries directly and liaise with potential buyers. We send you a weekly enquiry report and you are also able to view all of your enquires and statistics online. If you have already instructed an estate agent in France you can forward email enquiries to them directly.

Yes. You can view daily and monthly advert statistics for property views and enquiries. To view your statistics, simply login and select "My Properties" from the left hand menu and then click on the "statistics" link displayed beneath your advert price.
No. We do not organise or partake in property viewings. You need to liaise directly with potential buyers to arrange viewings. If you have already instructed an estate agent in France you can continue to use their services for visits and key holding.
