Champagne Ardenne Tradit. Houses & Architecture
Champagne Ardenne traditional houses and the local architecture have been very influenced by the neighbours regions and architectural influences. This French region has benefited from the refined half-timbering techniques developed in Alsace and Lorraine as well as from the brick-style houses typical from Nord Pas de Calais and Picardy.
However, the Champagne Ardenne architecture really has its own character thanks to the particular landscapes of the region and the way people live in this area of France.
