The nearest town is only 15 minutes away by car and has a butcher, baker, supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, vet and school. The nearest hypermarket is a 30 minute drive. The A20 gives easy access to all routes and to Limoges airport. There are numerous medieval towns: St Benoit du Sault, Chauvigny and Montmorillon to name a few. There are many local markets and vides greniers, plus the unmissable, 500 year old foire at Les Herolles, held on the 29th of each month.

Access
The property is 20 minutes from Junction 22 of the A20 and just under an hour's drive from Limoges Airport. There is a train station at La Souterraine (30 minutes) with direct links to Paris.

Interior
The kitchen and living room are open plan. There is broadband internet, a television and a Humax. The bedroom has an adjacent dressing room with chests of drawers, a wardrobe and a full size mirror and the shower room is reached directly from the bedroom, thereby essentially being an en-suite facility. Exterior
The decking, accessed from the living area, overlooks the river. There is a swing bench, a sun lounger, and an outdoor table and chairs for two. It is extremely peaceful to sit here, listening to the sound of the weir and the birds. A small flight of steps leads down into the fully enclosed garden. The garden can also be accessed from the front of the property.

Additional Details
The location is extremely peaceful, with only two other houses. It is set on a single track road and surrounded by fields. There is a large network of chemins, the nearest 50 metres away. Birdsong is everywhere, and wild animals abound: birds of prey, deer and red squirrels are easily spotted. There is a restaurant in the nearby village and many others locally.
