The nearest town is only 15 minutes away by car and has a butcher, baker, supermarket, pharmacy, doctor, dentist, vet and school. The nearest hypermarket is a 30 minute drive. The A20 gives easy access to all routes and to Limoges airport. There are numerous medieval towns: St Benoit du Sault, Chauvigny and Montmorillon to name a few. There are many local markets and vides greniers, plus the unmissable, 500 year old foire at Les Herolles, held on the 29th of each month.

The property is 20 minutes from Junction 22 of the A20 and just under an hour's drive from Limoges Airport. There is a train station at La Souterraine (30 minutes) with direct links to Paris.
