This is a renovation project that really needs to be started from scratch but would make a superb little house, either to have as a holiday home or a permanent home for a couple or a single person. It is set on a no-through-road in a little hamlet and is incredibly peaceful, just the birdsong to keep you company. It is 2 km to the village of Gouex (about half an hour walk or ten minutes by bicycle) which has a baker and a lively bar/restaurant, and only 4 km to the nearby town of Lussac-les-Chateaux which has all amenities and a railway station with trains to Poitiers and from there to Paris, Bordeaux or even London.
