The villages of Marthon and Javerlhac are a few minutes' drive away and offer basic amenities such as pharmacies, boulangeries, boucheries and post offices. There is a guingette and two restaurants within a 5 km radius of the house. The towns of Montbron and Nontron can both be reached in less than 20 minutes and offer a wider choice of restaurants, supermarkets, speciality shops and more. The city of Angouleme is a 30- minute drive away and has TGVs that deliver passengers to Paris inside 2.5 hours. The nearest airport is Limoges, approximately an hour away.
