Issoire is a town of the Puy de Dome department, in the Auvergne region. Located to the south of Clermont Ferrand, the Couze Pavin River runs through the town. It accounts for 13,373 inhabitants called the Issoiriens. It is situated very close to the two main nature regional parks of France, which makes it a pleasant town to live in.
