Les Saisies is one of several interconnected villages that comprise the famous Espace Diamant ski region, the others being Praz-sur-Arly, Flumet, Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, and Crest Voland. It is also possible to ski over to the Contamines via the navette service. This means that there is access to over 185kms of interconnected ski slopes, which are served by some 85 ski lifts. All levels of skiing are provided for in the area from novice to expert. In addition to this there are also 140kms of prepared trails for Nordic skiing and numerous walking paths and mountain bike trails. Other activities available include hiking, paragliding, hot air ballooning, dog sleigh rides, canyoning and more. Les Saisies is sunny for most of the year and has stunning views of Mont Blanc.

The nearest international airports are at Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble, with Chambéry an option during the winter season. The TGV station is 25kms south in Albertville and there are good road links to the village.
