10. Payment at Property Auctions in France
There is no seven day cooling off period for properties purchased at auction, in the manner that applies with normal sales.
Payment must be made within 45 days in the case of notarial auctions although longer is available for judicial auctions.
If you default on payment, then you are liable for any shortfall from the price achieved on that in new sale and that in the initial auction.
